The McLaren MCL-HY 2027 is a specially developed LMDh FIA hypercar designed to compete in the FIA ??World Endurance Championship (WEC) and the '24 Hours of Le Mans' starting in 2027. It combines a twin-turbocharged V6 racing engine with a hybrid MGU system, delivering up to 520 kW (707 horsepower) of power to the rear axle. Featuring a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque chassis and a minimum weight of just 1,030 kg, the MCL-HY has been engineered to strike an optimal balance between performance, efficiency, and endurance racing capability.
