For the 2022 model year, Toyota has made significant changes in its Avalon model. These changes include the all-wheel-drive system is not available now, the sporty TRD model has also been discontinued. Another change is that the Hybrid XSE model is now only available with the Nightshade appearance package and all models receive a new rear-seat reminder feature. As Avalon is the Flagship Sedan of Toyota having an aggressive look outside, but this full-size sedan is a softie from the inside because it offers a variety of features to choose from with different packages. Let’s have a look at the XSE trim of Avalon Hybrid. After the major updates of last year, XSE Hybrid is now available only with Nightshade Edition Package. Avalon Hybrid XSE Nightshade has a handsomely toned body that makes it a smart sedan in the market. Because of its roomy interior and well-trimmed cabin, it is among the best four-door sedans on the market. Its spacious cabin makes it comfortable for an all-day drive. Under the hood, it carries a Hybrid engine: 2.5-Liter Dynamic Force 4-Cylinder DOHC 16-Valve D-4S Dual-Injection with VVT-iE, VVT-i with Eco, Normal, Sport, and EV 174 drive modes. The engine produces 176 hp @ 5700 rpm Horsepower and gives 163 lb.-ft. @ 3600-5200 rpm Torque. Standard infotainment features include a 9-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, satellite radio, Bluetooth, an eight-speaker stereo, and five USB ports.
