The upcoming Volkswagen ID.1 is expected to be Volkswagen’s most affordable electric city car, designed for practical urban driving with cutting-edge technology and efficient performance. Inspired by the ID.EVERY1 concept, the compact EV will likely feature a 70 kW (95 hp) electric motor, front-wheel drive, and a driving range of around 250 km on a full chargeIts stylish exterior, slim LED lighting, sporty stance, and compact dimensions make it ideal for busy city streets while still offering a spacious cabin for four passengers. Inside, the ID.1 is expected to feature a large infotainment display, digital driver screen, physical shortcut controls, smart connectivity features, and Volkswagen’s next-generation software system with future update support. With a target starting price of around €20,000 and a launch planned for 2027, the Volkswagen ID.1 aims to provide affordable, efficient, and innovative electric mobility for everyday drivers.
