The 2027 BMW i4 M60 Gran Coupe is expected to be an upgraded version of BMW’s flagship electric performance sedan. The dual-motor electric AWD system is projected to produce around 620 horsepower, improving on the 2026 model’s roughly 593–601 hp output, while maintaining strong torque and rapid acceleration.
The upgraded lithium-ion battery is expected to remain around 84–86 kWh but with improved efficiency from updated power electronics and thermal management, increasing range to roughly 285–310 miles EPA. Similar improvements already boosted range and efficiency in the 2026 update through new inverter technology.
The Gran Coupe body combines sporty styling with everyday practicality, offering a liftback cargo area and aerodynamic design. Inside, the cabin features premium materials and advanced technology including the BMW Curved Display, iDrive 9 software, and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.
With sub-3.5-second acceleration, adaptive M suspension, and intelligent electric AWD torque distribution, the 2027 i4 M60 Gran Coupe is expected to remain one of BMW’s fastest and most advanced electric sport sedans.
