For the 2022 model year, Jeep is not making major updates in the Renegade model because last year it got upgraded safety technologies and new special-edition models. The older 2.4-liter engine is changed with a 1.3-liter engine this year. It competes with the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Kona, and Honda HR-V. Renegade is a four-door SUV offered in five trim levels: Sport, Latitude, Altitude, Trailhawk, and Limited. Renegade Altitude is powered by a 1.3L Turbo Inline-4 Gas engine paired with 9-Speed Automatic Transmission. The engine produces 177 hp @ 5750 rpm Horsepower and gives 210 lb-ft @ 1750 rpm Torque. It is offered only in All-Wheel Drive. The Renegade has a fuel tank capacity of 12.7 gallons and a seating capacity of 5 persons. Renegade Sport AWD gives a fuel economy of 23 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. It gives an acceleration of 0-60 MPH in 8.9 secs and its top speed is capped at 122 MPH.
