BMW i5 2025
BMW has planned several electric vehicles to be produced on its existing CLAR platform which supports EVs, hybrids, and combustion vehicles. These models will be launched somewhere in the next year. Neue Klasse will be BMW's first all-electric platform. BMW will release its next Generation 5 series as an electric vehicle named i5. It will be the first-ever electric vehicle of BMW which will be based on Neue Klasse architecture.
Design
As in spy photos, the first-ever i5 will come with blanked grille, minimized front air dam, and added a flush door handle design. The car that got spied has sharper and eye-catchy headlights. New LED taillights and a diffuser with the typical fake exhaust tips are also present.
Performance
It’s expected to be an All-Wheel Drive vehicle featuring 455kW of power and 1100Nm of torque or it will be more than the expected horsepower and torque.
Competitors
The BMW i5 will compete against many strong rivals including Mercedes EQE, Tesla Model S, and Audi E6 & Nio ET7.
Release Date
BMW i5 is expected to be revealed at the end of next year and its production will start in 2024. It’s believed to arrive somewhere in 2025.
Expected price in USD
