The Geely Galaxy Xingyao 8 (2026) is a premium plug-in hybrid executive sedan equipped with Geely's advanced Thor EM-i/EM-P super-hybrid system. In the EM-i versions, a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated hybrid engine is paired with a 175 kW permanent-magnet synchronous electric motor, delivering a combined output of up to 257 kW (350 horsepower) and 398 Nm of torque. The variant with a 225 km range is capable of covering 225 km in pure electric mode (according to CLTC standards), while the EM-i system achieves a fuel consumption rate of approximately 3.32 to 3.36 liters per 100 km in CLTC charge-sustaining (feed-fuel) testing.
