Nissan said that Armada is built to take adventurers to a new height. Its tough construction, impressive Power, and adaptive utility make it enough to tackle what lies ahead. Nissan has made major design and tech changes in Armada last year; that's why this year, no major changes can be seen. Armada 2021 was modified by getting a handsome facelift and a handful of new tech features, so the 2022 model year is mostly a carryover. Armada Platinum Captain's Chairs 4WD is powered by a 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V8 engine paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and Downshift Rev Matching. The engine produces 400 hp @ 5,800 rpm horsepower and gives 413 lb-ft of torque @ 4,000 rpm. This full-size SUV is offered only in All-Wheel Drive. Armada Platinum Captain's Chairs 4WD gives a fuel economy of 16 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway. Its ride is still one of the calmest and smoothest.
