The ICE alone is good for 178 hp (132 kW / 180 PS) and 265 Nm (196 lb-ft), while the electric motor peaks at 72 hp (54 kW / 73 PS) and 304 Nm (224 lb-ft). The combined output of the hybrid system is a respectable 242 hp (180 kW / 245 PS) and 367 Nm (271 lb-ft) of torque, with the stylish but chunky minivan tipping the scales at 2,220 kg (4,894 pounds). The hybrid version of the Hyundai Staria doesn’t bring any visual updates compared to the non-electrified trims, retaining the futuristic LED strip at the front and the massive greenhouse. Inside, the Cargo (LCV) version can be ordered with 3 or 5 seats, while the passenger Tourer model is offered with 9 or 11 seats. Available features include a digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch infotainment display with Hybrid-specific graphics, automatic climate control, heated and ventilated seats, and an array of ADAS systems.
